Budějovický Budvar Headquater

Budějovický Budvar Headquater
The design represents a visionary approach to transforming a traditional brewery into a modern public space. The concept works with a modular system of walking areas that connects industrial production with public parks and tourist attractions. The result is a new, open and dynamic space that enriches the northern part of České Budějovice with a green and cultural centre.
The project offers visitors a unique brewing experience - combining insights into the production processes, interactive tours, gastronomy and a pleasant environment for relaxation. The main goal is to open the brewery to the public and create an experience that combines historical tradition with modern elements.
The inspiration for the public space came from the typical landscape of hop gardens, whose rhythmic alleys of columns form an iconic image. We designed a modular system that can be adapted to different locations and functions - this becomes the basis of the newly created public park on the Budvar Brewery site.
Hops, as a key component of the brewing industry, play not only a technological but also an aesthetic role here - they become the central motif of the entire design and harmoniously accompany the diverse vegetation throughout the site.
