The structure is inspired by the lines of the surrounding landscape, winding through architecture and art, through play and community. From the long paths that cut through the terrain, to the waves of the water against the shore, and the circular turns of the kite-surfers. Visitors are invited to explore the long ramp that slowly rises above the landscape to a vantage point four metres above ground, accessible for all to experience. The long ramp becomes a playful element in the landscape, where the interior of the curves are adapted to different needs: from service facilities and hang out spots for surfers, to meeting places for visitors and space for local gatherings at larger events. We want to create a place that has the potential to become a place marker for Holmsland, an element of art in the landscape, attracting visitors and stimulating their curiosity to explore this unique place more closely.

INSPIRATION
Upon arrival at Kloster, you are met by unique and distinctive characteristics, both in the form of the nature of the place, the open spaces of the landscape and the water of Ringkøbing Fjord that undulates in the landscape.

CONCEPT
The structure is inspired by the lines of the surrounding landscape. From the long paths that cut through the terrain to the waves of the water against the shore.

FACILITIES FOR LOCALS AND SURFERS
You are also met by the local culture, where you sense the strong and vibrant local community. There is room for both those who come from afar and the locals who use the place in their everyday lives. For the active and action-packed, and for the quiet moments of everyday life. Our proposal incorporates both of these characters and takes care of this unique place, here at the border between city and countryside.
